How stars work
Stars on Enynka work like Michelin stars – they're earned, not bought. They reflect the real quality of service that clients rate in their reviews.
Thresholds
To earn a star, a profile has to meet both requirements at once – a minimum number of verified reviews and a high enough average.

What is a “verified review”?
For a review to count toward the stars, it has to meet all of these:
- It's written by a registered user (not anonymous, not an admin).
- The user had a booking with that professional (or salon) that has already taken place – either the professional marked it as completed, or it's a confirmed booking with an appointment in the past. The second option is there on purpose: professionals mark bookings as “completed” by hand, so if everything depended on that, they could silence an unwelcome review simply by never closing the booking.
- The review is not hidden – we look into reported reviews and remove those that break the rules.
Reviews without a verified booking are shown on the profile, but they don't count toward the stars. You can see this in the text under the stars: “4.7 · 23 verified reviews (out of 31 total)”.
Safeguards against abuse
- No fake reviews: Reviews without a booking don't count. Creating fake accounts to review yourself won't help.
- Pattern detection: If 5+ reviews arrive within 24 hours from different accounts with similar text or the same IP address, an admin takes a look and removes them if spam is confirmed.
- Right to object: If you feel a review is untrue or harms you (DSA), you can report it using the “Report” button below the review.
- Real-time updates: Stars are recalculated whenever a new review comes in or a booking's status changes.
For professionals: how do you earn stars?
You can't buy or request stars – you earn them by doing great work and having your clients rate you on Enynka after their visit. Actively offer online booking through Enynka (that's the only way reviews count), and after each visit, gently remind your client to leave a short review.
